8. Common Company Page mistakes
- Treating the Page as a press-release feed. Corporate news has a place, but it rarely provides enough value to sustain a useful audience.
- No clear owner. When everyone is responsible, publishing, comments and measurement usually become inconsistent.
- One remaining Super admin. This creates avoidable continuity risk.
- Unmanaged former admins. Access should be reviewed as roles and relationships change.
- Obsessing over follower count. Audience quality and relevance matter.
- Publishing without responding. Community management is part of Page management.
- Copying executive posts word for word. The organisation and its leaders should reinforce one another without becoming duplicate channels.
- Trying every format because it exists. Format should serve the idea.
- Identical content across every regional Page. Multiple Pages only make sense when there is a real organisational or audience reason for them.
- Changing tactics every time reach fluctuates. One weak post or one strong post is not a strategy signal.
- Buying Premium and expecting it to fix an unmanaged Page. Additional features cannot substitute for ownership and editorial judgement.
