5. Newsletters, verification and Premium Company Pages
Key point: add features only when the editorial and governance system is strong enough to support them.
LinkedIn® Company Page newsletters
LinkedIn allows eligible Pages to publish newsletters. LinkedIn currently states that Pages need an audience base of more than 150 followers and/or connections to be evaluated for newsletter access, alongside recent original content and a good standing record under its Professional Community Policies.
A Company Page newsletter can be valuable when the organisation has a clear recurring editorial proposition. It is much less useful when it becomes a monthly collection of links to whatever the company happened to publish.
Before launching one, define:
- who it is for;
- what recurring problem or interest it serves;
- how often it can realistically be published;
- who owns the editorial process;
- how it relates to the website, email and wider content strategy.

Page verification
LinkedIn Page verification is intended to signal that the Page is the official Page of the organisation. Eligibility does not guarantee verification. LinkedIn says factors can include accurate Page data, active admin presence, whether the Page is claimed and policy compliance. Eligible Pages can request verification from Settings in the desktop super-admin experience.

Premium Company Pages
Premium Company Page is a separate paid subscription. As of this 2026 edition, LinkedIn lists features including Page verification eligibility, a custom CTA, Page visitor information, testimonials, credibility highlights, automatic invitations for engaged members, dynamic cover images and additional service-request features. Availability can still vary.
Premium can make a well-managed Page more capable. It does not replace positioning, editorial judgement, content production, community management or measurement.
