If something is missing, Double Check — Publish Check warns you before publication. It does not lock you out of publishing: you can go back and fix the issue or deliberately publish anyway.

Double Check — Publish Check is intended for solo site owners, editors, multi-author websites, guest-author and contributor workflows, and anyone who wants a small final check without adopting a full editorial workflow system.

What it does not do

There are no scores, AI features, analytics, external services, SEO integrations or complex workflow rules. Double Check — Publish Check is designed to do one small job and stay out of the way.

Compatibility: Double Check — Publish Check 1.0.0 requires WordPress 7.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. It has been tested with WordPress 7.1.2 and is available from the official WordPress Plugin Directory.
