A useful LinkedIn® coaching conversation should create clarity. You should leave knowing what needs to change, why it matters, and what to do next. The value is not in filling a fixed number of minutes. It is in resolving the right problem.
That distinction matters because “LinkedIn® coaching” can describe very different services. One provider may review a profile. Another may help a leadership team align its presence with a company strategy. A third may focus on content habits, networking, or business development. Before booking anything, define the outcome you need.
Start with the problem, not the session length
A short call can be useful when the issue is narrow and well defined. It is rarely enough for a complete profile rebuild, a company-wide strategy, or a meaningful change in executive positioning.
Common reasons to seek help include:
- your profile no longer reflects your current role or direction;
- your leadership team presents an inconsistent picture of the business;
- your Company Page looks active but lacks a clear purpose;
- you are publishing without knowing what reputation you are trying to build;
- you need an experienced outside view before making changes.
The clearer the problem, the easier it is to choose the right form of support.
What good LinkedIn® coaching should produce
A defined purpose
Advice should begin with why you are using LinkedIn®. Career visibility, commercial credibility, industry contribution, talent attraction, and corporate reputation require different choices. A generic checklist cannot make those decisions for you.
A prioritized action plan
You should not leave with dozens of disconnected tips. A good adviser will identify the few changes that matter most, put them in the right order, and explain what can wait.
Advice that fits your real constraints
Your available time, appetite for public visibility, approval processes, and internal resources all affect the plan. A strategy that cannot be maintained is not a strategy.
Clear ownership
Know who will do the work after the conversation. Some people want direction and will implement it themselves. Others need their profile rewritten or their Company Page actively managed. The service should make that division explicit.
Questions to ask before booking
- What specific outcome is this session designed to produce?
- Will you review my current profile or Page before we speak?
- Do I receive written recommendations afterward?
- Is implementation included?
- Who will actually deliver the work?
- What happens if the issue is larger than a single session?
- Can you show that you understand my sector, audience, and responsibilities?
Be cautious when the promise depends on guaranteed reach, instant leads, secret algorithm knowledge, or an arbitrary posting formula. No adviser controls distribution or buyer behavior.
What Leaders Social currently provides
Leaders Social does not currently sell a standalone 30-minute coaching product. Fox Tucker personally provides defined services where the work and outcome are clear:
- LinkedIn® Profile Optimization — £495
- C-Suite LinkedIn® Profile Optimization — £795, including 12 months of support
- CEO LinkedIn® Profile Optimization — £995, including 12 months of support
- LinkedIn® Company Page Optimization — £695, including reviews of five leadership profiles
- Actively managed LinkedIn® Company Pages — £1,500 per month, with a three-month minimum and one month’s notice
Employee coaching and agreed executive writing can form part of Company Page Management when they support the wider company presence. They are not positioned as separate retainer services.
Choose the smallest service that solves the whole problem
If you need one decision checked, a focused conversation may be enough. If the problem is an outdated profile, buy a profile service. If the issue is the company’s ongoing presence, ownership, and consistency, a managed Company Page may be the more honest solution.
Do not buy hours. Buy a clearly defined outcome, delivered by someone whose judgment you trust.
You can review the current options on the Leaders Social pricing page or book a discovery call to discuss the right starting point.
